Black & Muted is more than a podcast — it's a platform, a community and a movement built around conversations that are too often avoided, silenced or left unspoken.
Created to unmute the conversations that matter, we explore real, raw and sometimes uncomfortable topics affecting the Black community — creating a space where people can speak freely, challenge ideas, disagree respectfully and, most importantly, listen to one another.

Real, raw and sometimes uncomfortable topics affecting the Black community — from relationships, identity and family to culture, mental wellbeing, social expectations and the issues we don't always feel comfortable discussing openly. Through honest conversations, different perspectives, special guests and community voices, we create a space where people can speak freely, challenge ideas, disagree respectfully and, most importantly, listen to one another.

Our Black & Muted WhatsApp Community was created to turn conversation into connection, support and action. A space for members to connect, share knowledge, support one another, promote opportunities, celebrate achievements, exchange resources and build meaningful relationships.
THE MOVEMENT
We believe community means more than simply talking about the issues affecting us. It means showing up for one another, supporting Black businesses and creatives, sharing opportunities, having difficult conversations and being willing to stand together when change is needed.

Black & Muted encourages people not only to have a voice, but to use that voice to positively contribute to the community around them. Identifying a problem is only the beginning. Real change happens when conversation becomes action.

We don't claim to have all the answers, and our opinions are not facts.
Our purpose is to start conversations, encourage understanding and create a space where different perspectives can be heard.
Black & Muted isn't about telling people what to think. It's about creating a space where we're no longer afraid to say what we think, explore why we think it, support one another and stand together to make a difference.
